Many people in the UK are struggling with long term illness or disability and have not benefited from conventional treatments prescribed by their GP or hospital specialists. They may have suffered from effects from medications or be worried potentially addictive or harmful effects from pharmaceuticals. Medical cannabis treatments are now available in the UK on prescription for a wide range of medical conditions and symptoms. I am an experienced rehabilitation physician with extensive experience prescribing medical cannabis treatment for a wide range of physical and mental health conditions.
I mostly offer remote appointments from the Medical Rehabilitation Clinic in Taunton and the Lyphe Clinic in London. I have extensive experience in the management of chronic disabling conditions and neurological rehabilitation. I manage patients with symptoms such as chronic pain, spasticity, insomnia and mental health issues related to neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis, degenerative conditions, palliative conditions and long term disability.
I was a consultant at Walkergate Park Centre for Neuro-rehabilitation and Neuro- psychiatry in Newcastle. I have been a clinical lead advisor at several independent private rehabilitation units. I have additional experience in primary care, drug dependence, and secure unit medicine in the UK. I have an interest in psychological medicine and expertise in medical cannabis prescribing. I have remote appointments at the Lyphe Clinic and also in Taunton.
